It would be nice to see totals in the "Receipt Directory with Payment Method" report. When you select a certain method of payment, it does not show a total. It only shows a total when you select all methods and then you don't know how much was for checks, cash, etc. It would be very helpful when balancing if there were totals, or subtotals of the different methods of payment.
I am writing this here too because I missed this Comments section. We use the Payment Method Directory report in cash management. It gives you totals for checks, cash, etc and which drawer it was receipted from. We use this report every day for balancing :) I hope this is what you are looking for.
I would like to see the payment type on the receipt center. This would help balance checks vs. cash at end of day
